Purplish-red hairs can develop around the center of the rosette, adding another layer of color and texture. Mature plants produce delicate violet-purple flowers on slender stalks above the foliage.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003e‘Loki’ was hybridized by Peter Shalit from \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003cspan\u003ePrimulina brassicoides × P. dryas\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e ‘Latifolia Dwarf’. It stays relatively compact, generally around 6–8 inches across, and is vigorous and easy to grow.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eFor me, the real attraction of Primulina is the foliage.
